It stands 77cm high, 106cm wide and 54cm deep and  it is a very useful size for a home office, hall/console table or it can be used as dressing table too.

The top of the desk use to be covered with brown and embossed leather skiver, unfortunately it couldn’t be saved. However surprisingly after the removal of the leather revealed it beautiful wood grain which I treated with finishing wax oil for care and durability. The round/bull nose edge all around the top is finished with gold and the square tapering legs with gold shoes.

Of honest artisan construction, it incorporates the classic lines of the late Georgian Period. It features three dovetail drawers with original brass pull handle with polished and finished in gold.  
It is hand painted in Midnight blue/navy blue colour and the details highlighted in gold with embodies a well used much loved piece of painted English furniture.
